 COVID-19 CRISIS: CHILDREN ON STREETS NEED HELP MORE THAN EVER BEFORE  CORONAVIRUS is threatening children's rights across the world and India too isn't unscathed. The worst-hit are the children living on streets and in slums. These children already live in abject poverty and struggle to avail the resources and opportunities they need to lead a decent life. Save the Children is committed to provide relief to children living on the fringes as the COVID-19 crisis unfolds.
As of 20 May 2020, Save the Children has reached out to more than 1.48 lakh beneficiaries with food kits. Almost 19,000 people have been reached through distribution of hygiene kits. Close to 49,000 individuals have received guidance on health and hygiene.
Our awareness and sensitization activities have touched more than 4.3 lakh people. We have an enormous task at hand, and we need all the support we can get.
