A Comprehensive and Holistic approach in Fight Against CORRUPTION

A Comprehensive and Holistic approach in Fight Against CORRUPTION

I Support Anna Hazare for the Cause he is standing for(Corruption), however, personally I differ from IAC(Civil Society) that if Janlokpal is brought, it will nullify corruption: (I hope the IAC supporters dont abuse me for having a personal opinion!!)

I advocate 5 major things as fight against corruption and dont thing Janlokpal or Lokpal alone will work:

1. Implementation of Law Commission of India of Increase the number of courts in India by 5 Fold. This will ensure SPEEDY TRIAL of not only corruption cases, but all cases in the courts, leading to greater public trust in Judicial Process.

2. Separate Judicial Accountability Bill

3. Electoral reforms - preventing candidates booked under any provision of IPC or CrPC barring cases of protest march etc., from contesting elections.

4. State funding of Elections - since most of the loot is basically done to fund elections to bribe voters, for publicity, ads etc., My view is that the limit that EC of India sets as spending limit per candidate, should be deposited with the EC and the payment to all the services that the candidate incurrs for elections should be paid by the Election Commission of India directly to the vendors.

5. Janlokpal or Lokpal - (under concurrent list and not only in union list)

6. Additionally Public Services Guarantee and Delivery Bill for time bound discharge of govt services.

7. RTI (which is already in force)

THIS CAN GIVE A COMPREHENSIVE APPROACH AND CAN GO A LONG WAY IN OUR "FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION".
